Honest, atmospheric weddings – felt, not performed.

I started photographing weddings in 2020, mostly across Scotland and Europe and a year later, was named one of Rangefinder’s Rising Stars 2021.

Hi, I’m Bernadeta.

Wedding photographer based in Scotland, working across Europe and Marrakech.

I photograph weddings in a way that feels natural and unforced, drawn to the moments that aren’t planned, but end up meaning the most.

I don’t try to turn a wedding into something it’s not.
I notice what’s already there and sometimes, when it needs it, I shift things slightly so it falls into place.

I’ve photographed weddings across Scotland, Europe and Marrakech, always drawn to places with character, light, and atmosphere.

Outside of weddings, I’m always observing. I like watching people, listening to music with my eyes closed, imagining the stories behind places.

I’m drawn to couples who care more about how it feels than how it looks, who want something honest, a bit different, and entirely their own.

What inspired me to become a destination wedding photographer in Scotland?

I’ve always been drawn to places with character.
The kind you feel as soon as you arrive: in the light, the textures, the way everything sits together.

Travel was never about ticking places off.
It was about being in them. Noticing. Slowing down.

Somewhere along the way, photography became part of that.

I photograph weddings in places that feel like something, not just look like something.
Places with atmosphere, with presence, with a sense of story already in them.

And the couples I work with are the same.

Not following a formula. Not trying to get it “right”.
Just wanting to experience it fully, in a place that feels like them.

The way your partner looks at you. The laughter with your people. The quiet moments no one else notices.

That’s what matters.

You don’t need someone to stage it or direct every second.
You need someone who understands when to step in and when to leave it exactly as it is.

I move with the rhythm of your day. Calm when it’s busy. Present when it’s quiet.

Not forcing anything. Just noticing what’s already there.
