Rainy Elopement in the Cottage in Scottish Highlands – Kayleigh & Pawel

Kayleigh and Pawel rainy elopement in the cottage in Scottish Highlands was very relaxed and fun, even if the weather was really bad that day. It was raining that day, so much so that the wipers did not keep up wiping the rain off the windows. We rode in the column at the speed of a tortoise. Maybe a little faster. But the spare time we had was getting smaller every minute. In two places, a mountain stream broke into the road. It was raining. And it was blowing.

Kayleigh and Pawel wanted to have a relaxed elopement with no formal plans. Just a laid-back day which they will celebrate with their two daughters, Ava and Martha. Flowergirsl looking like two little angles in their tulle dresses and white, fluffy, warm jumpers.

Heavy rain changed their plans a bit but the ceremony was outside, as they dreamed about. A bit accelerated as another rainy cloud had come.

Most things didn’t go as planned, but we had a lot of chances to laugh. And despite everything, thanks to these shortcomings (thanks to the weather!), Kayleigh and Pawel had wonderful elopement in the cottage on the shore of Loch Striven. For example, confetti flying in the wrong direction, because suddenly the wind, which was blowing in the same direction all the time, changed direction as Maureen, a humanist celebrant, launched it towards Kayleigh and Pawel’s little family. Or the rain, which after an hour’s break, when we went out, to light a fire, bake marshmallows, light cold fires, reminded himself that he wanted to continue falling.

Kayleigh and Pawel went with the flow on their rainy elopement in Scottish Highlands. They had a beautifully decorated table full of sweets, fruit and snacks. They had everything. And the most important they were there together with their lovely daughters.
