Frequently Asked Questions

I’m a destination wedding photographer based in Fife, Scotland, but I’m very happy to travel anywhere. And I mean ANYWHERE. I have a soft spot for my home country — from Glencoe to the Cairngorms, Edinburgh to the Isle of Skye, I love discovering new places and exploring new adventure wedding destinations in Scotland.

Getting married outside of Scotland? I’m in! Whether it’s across the pond in Ireland or across the world in Bali, let’s talk about your destination wedding photography or adventure elopement plans.

It’s super easy to book me! Fill in the contact form and see if your wedding date is still available. If it is, and you’re happy with my packages, then I’ll send you the contract to sign and the invoice with the details to pay the booking fee. That’s it!

Yes, we can organise to split your payments into four instalments. Just let me know if this would suit you. To secure your date the booking fee is required.

Personally, quality is much more important than quantity but I promise I’ll always include plenty of images of everything I capture throughout your wedding or elopement day. I want to provide you with pictures that will transport you back to that special day. I usually deliver between 250 (for elopements) to 700 (for weddings) carefully selected and edited photos.

Firstly, I’ll send you a handful of sneak peek shots a couple of days after your wedding. Four to six weeks later, you’ll receive a link to your online gallery and slideshow to watch and relive your wedding day. You’ll be able to share the link with your friends and family.

Absolutely! I love to travel and I have travelled all my life. I’ve visited three continents so far and have already been to Marrakech, Bali, Vietnam, Madeira, the Faroe Islands, Malta, Italy, France, Spain, Ireland, Poland, the Netherlands, Singapore, Quatar and Germany.

It will take roughly four to six weeks to receive your final wedding photos. I put a lot of love and care into perfecting each image, which is why it’ll take me a little bit more time to deliver your final images. If you’d like your photos sooner, please ask me about my rush fee.

Of course, I’d love for you to print your favourite photos! You can easily order prints through your online gallery. There’s an online shop built into the gallery so you can easily design and order the photo album while perusing them over a glass of wine.

I believe you chose me to capture your dreamy day because you like the way I edit photos (among other things!), so I don’t provide RAW images. Unedited photos are unfinished artwork — it’s like going to a coffee shop and asking for a cappuccino without milk! I promise I will send you all the photos you need. But if you feel any moments are missing, just get in touch and I’ll dig through the entire gallery to find what you’re looking for.

Nah! I believe in natural beauty. Of course, I’ll remove temporary blemishes (like pimples, scratches, bruises, spots, etc) unless you want me to leave them.

My home of Scotland is famous for its rapidly changing weather — there’s often no point checking the forecast in advance because it will likely be different on the day! However, as an adventure wedding photographer, I actually LOVE rainy and windy days. Rain will make your photos unique, beautiful and moody, and wind will make your hair and clothes dance beautifully.

If the weather becomes extreme during the session, we will take a break. If the whole day is going to be heavy rains and strong wind and you want to postpone the session, let me know. We will find a date that suits us!

A million times YES!!! LGBTQIA+, no matter how you identify and regardless of how you define your relationship, I’d love to be a part of your wedding day. Love is love and I’m 100% here for it!

Chantelle & Jerome

I have absolutely not enough words of appreciation and admiration for Bernadeta and her incredible work! Initially, when I was looking for a photographer it was important for me to have someone who has great experience in elopements as it is such an intimate event. When I came across Bernadeta’s website and Instagram I instantly fell in love, through her photos you can see all the emotions, and the attention to detail, it’s so beautiful like fine art, looking at our pictures gives me goosebumps every time!

From our first call with Bernadeta up to the elopement day she was super helpful, had so much passion and knowledge she shared with us that helped us with the planning and nothing was too much of an ask. I was so excited to meet her in person on our wedding day. Her personality, guidance and great energy were an integral part of our day and she was a witness to our wedding :)! The way she captured us, the guidance she gave us and how comfortable she made us feel was world-class! She gave us a beautiful sneak peek the day after our wedding and the full album was ready super quickly! I cannot recommend Bernadeta enough!
