Thor’s harbour, Tórshavn is one of the smallest capital cities in the world. It is a really charming place, full of cute houses in the Nordic style, grass-roofed buildings. Moreover, Thorshavn is a place where modernity mixes with old times. It was here that standing near the port I heard the almost forgotten crowing of a rooster and I could feel at home.
I met Emilia through Instagram. A few weeks before flying to the Faroe Islands, I wrote to her if she would like to meet and take a photo session. We chose Tinganes, the oldest part of Tórshavn, for the portrait photo session.
The day we met for the photo session was rainy. Emilia was really brave, we had a great time together laughing, joking, running and enjoying the moment.
