Why wedding in National Mining Museum in Scotland might be a great adventure?

Redbrick walls, arched windows, industrial elements and Victorian architecture are the main features of the National Mining Museum in Newtongrange. Moreover, the light that comes through the large windows gives it a hint of mystery. The venue can seat up to 150 guests. The wedding in the National Mining Museum Scotland might be a great adventure.

The coal mine was opened 125 years ago, in 1895. It was open until 1981. However, entering, you get the impression that time has stopped and you’ll soon see miners in helmets coming out with pickaxes, their faces smeared with coal and sweat.

The National Mining Museum Scotland is 25 minutes from Edinburgh. The Power House in that Scottish wedding venue can seat up to 120 guests. Huge radiators placed under the ceiling make an amazing impression.

Moreover, after the wedding ceremony in the National Mining Museum Scotland, you can go for a wedding session in the now-closed mine. There are a lot of corners here, where the light dances the waltz between arches and crevices.

If you like industrial accents, Victorian vibes then a wedding in the National Mining Museum Scotland might be a great choice.

Why wedding workshop is the secret ingredient?

I love to bake. If I do not walk in the mountains or by the sea enjoying the beautiful views, I do not take pictures, then I spend time in the kitchen. Although I have an open recipe that I use at the moment, I always add a mysterious ingredient. Something that diversifies the taste will make the person freeze wondering what it could be.

So why are photographic workshops a mysterious ingredient?

– you will start looking at the world differently, looking for curves and patterns,
– moreover, you might find inspiration where you haven’t looked for it before,
– you have the opportunity to meet wonderful, crazy people just like you,
– the light will never be as you have seen it before,
– you will expand the limits of your imagination.

At The Coalface Workshop, led by Sean Bell and Justyna, was the best wedding workshop I have been so far. These were two intense days during which we went through all stages of the wedding step by step. However, Sean and Justyna showed us in a fun way different ways to capture the most important moments.
