Annie and Adam dreamed about the adventurous Isle of Skye elopement at Loch Coruisk in summer. A place that is very special to them and brings many happy memories. Like a few years ago, on a very wet August day, Adam proposed to Anna on the shore of Loch Coruisk during one of their expeditions. A few years later, also in August, they got married at Loch Coruisk. In their favourite place and Annie also loves a boat trips having worked on them when she was young.
On their wedding day, there was a chance that the boat will be cancelled due to the windy weather. But luckily, thanks to The Misty Isle Boat Trips they managed to get to the location. There were tears of joy, laughter, emotional vows, muddy boots, vintage IrnBru drank from the Quaich, huge gusts of winds that grabbed Annie’s veil twice and dried rose confetti thrown by Rona, their incredible celebrant. Moreover, Annie was eight months pregnant, but that did not stop them to make their dream come true.
We didn’t meet any dolphins, but we saw a lot of seals lounging on the rocks, drank hot chocolate on the way back and ate a delicious fudge from one of the Scottish islands (I don’t remember exactly which one. Orkney comes to mind, but I can be wrong).
