A Modern Autumnal Dun Aluinn Wedding – Ariela & Mauricio
Ariela and Mauricio celebrated their big day with a modern, autumnal Dun Aluinn wedding, an exclusive use venue in Scotland. A venue, which impresses from the very first steps with every element, decoration and furniture. Even the light here is very well thought out and creates a wonderful atmosphere!
Initially, Ariela was planning an intimate wedding in Ireland. However, the venue she wrote to did not reply to her emails. I recommended several places in Scotland to her. Among them was the Dun Aluinn wedding venue in Scotland — a great choice for a luxury, modern autumnal wedding with the dearest and nearest that came from Mexico and the United States.
Ariela enjoyed every step of planning her wedding in Scotland. They wanted their wedding to be special and fulfil their expectations, not others.

The ceremony location was decorated with two low columns decorated with flowers from Verbena Flowers Studio in autumn tones. Similar flowers were used to create a bouquet for Ariela. It was finished with a velvet ribbon in the colour of old gold. It matched perfectly with the metallic blue cowboy boots.
An elegant, sober, bare-back, white dress with long sleeves from Pronovias Mexico was the dress Ariela dreamed about. Totally in her style: no flowers, no lace and no glitter.
Ariela and Mauricio enjoyed each part of their modern wedding in Scotland beginning with the ceremony outside, overlooking the nearby Scottish Highlands. The men wore traditional Scottish kilts and everyone danced to Scottish music, with food prepared and served by Ballintaggart and alcohol supplied by Wood Winters Vineyards. The weather held out too – it didn’t rain until it was time for Ariela and Mauricio to dance first with their parents and then with them.
My favourite moment was when everyone started ceilidh dancing in the living room and how they combined their multicultural wedding traditions during the course of the show. They danced in their own way and it was beautiful. I joined them myself. With one hand I held the person next to me, the other camera taking pictures and dancing at the same time.
Another favourite moment is dancing with her parents and Ariela and Mauricio in the room with the staircase leading upstairs.
