A Modern Romantic Marrakech Wedding In November

My travel bucket list is getting longer and longer. When I tick off one place, several new ones appear. Shooting a Marrakech wedding styled shoot has been on my list for over a year – I’ve been enchanted by the colours and architecture. And I was not disappointed. Marrakech, a place full of contrasts, is so colourful that you don’t know where to look – filled with a sweet, anise scent.

Oh, how nice it was to find myself in a luxury riad, Les Deux Tours in Marrakech, Morocco in November and leave cold Scotland for a few days. I was sitting by the window as usual – my favourite seat on the plane. Darkness surrounded me. Looking down at Morocco, through the window I saw the reflection of the sky. Houses not in a cluster of many in one place, but scattered like whistles in the sky. It’s here, it’s there. How different from many places I have seen so far.

At the exit of the airport, a driver was waiting for me with my name on a piece of paper. We set off on a half-hour, crazy journey by car. I don’t know if I would be able to drive a car here on my own, so I was very grateful to Sandra for organising the transport. Purpose of travelling to Marrakech? DivineDay Workshop. I love learning and discovering new places, so I combined the two into one to capture some dreamy wedding photography in Marrakech. Plus spending time in a nice, intimate group was what I needed.

It was two intense days filled with colours, beautiful and luxurious dresses and accessories – all ideal for capturing dreamy wedding photography in Marrakech – and exotic plants, Moroccan architecture, laughter and good food.
