Oh, how I missed it. Another challenge. This time, I organized a wedding elopement-styled session on Madeira, an island known for a reason as the island of eternal spring. A place where I’ve never been before and haven’t met anyone there. Two days before my departure, I had packed a beautiful gold Julita London wedding gown. It took up almost half of my suitcase, so I had to compromise with myself and minimally pack my own clothes. Another piece was used in front of the box that contained the handmade gold crown from Saint Beth Official. I couldn’t help but take it.
A few months before the flight to Madeira, I started looking for places I wanted to visit. Fanal forest – a mangrove forest, was number one on this list. I love forests and this one is really very special. An enchanted place. Especially for me – trees covered with fog, twisted in different directions. Quirky and beautiful. Creating a magical atmosphere. And capricious – I pictured a couple wandering among trees shrouded in a delicate mist. And yes, when we got there, thick clouds were walking among the trees. After half an hour they were gone and the sun came out. And then the blue of the sky hid in thick grey clouds.
However, the reality is sometimes different from the imaginations in our heads. Kate, wearing a beautiful sequin gold dress from Julita London, looked phenomenal. The colour of her dress, especially with the dark green leaves of the trees growing there, looked beautiful. When the sun came out from behind the clouds for a moment, the whole dress started to blink at us. And then the clouds again made a natural blend against the sun. We went for a walk around the quirky trees.
