Sunset Glencoe Elopement in May – Lucy & Iain

A sunset Glencoe elopement in May? Yes, why not? Lucy and Ian love the great outdoors, hiking and running. Therefore, they chose elopement over a traditional wedding. Surrounded only by the immediate family that might have come that day.

They fell in love with Glencoe on one of their trips. They had two dreams, not counting the element outside. In the background there had to be Buachaille Etive Mòr (the place had to be easily accessible and flat enough) and couples portraits at sunset.
We met a month before their elopement in Glencoe, on Monday after Easter, to scout some locations. The original plan was for a different spot for the ceremony. We had to change this plan several days before elopement.

Lucy and Iain dreamed about a sunset photoshoot.

We took a walk along the path between Glencoe Valley. They both wore running shoes. Did I mention that they both love to run? The running shoes were part of their little sunset adventure …
