Intimate Quiraing Elopement – Nicole & Joseph

Relaxed, emotional, beautiful. This is how I could describe Nicole and Joseph’s intimate Quiraing elopement. It was one of the most emotional elopements I’ve been able to witness. I almost had tears in my eyes as well. The Quiraing is a magical place for an elopement. Mountains forming interesting lines and bumps that create an even more dramatic view on a cloudy day. At its foot, surrounded only by Toby and Sam, their closest friends, Rona, my husband and me, Nicole and Joseph were having their ceremony.

The warm breeze was playing with Nicole’s simple polka-dot short dress and Joseph’s hair. Sheep grazed on the grass nearby. There was silence around, broken by our laughter. Rona read a story about how Nicole and Joseph met and how the lockdown made their love grow stronger.
There were a lot of tears, laughter, joyful and touching moments. It was just beautiful.

Nicole & Joseph read their vows in private. They held hands tightly.
After the ceremony, there was confetti and champagne. We also spread out a blanket, had a little picnic and admired the beautiful views. It was such a magical and intimate Quiraing elopement.
